Audiometry
Audiometry tests your ability to hear sounds. This test is done to detect or monitor hearing loss. Dr. Masri has two certified otology technicians on staff to offer your audiometry testing.

Audiogram
An audiogram records results of a hearing test. It will include a table and a graph for each ear showing how well you could hear sounds at various frequencies.

How the Graph Helps You
The graph measures the lowest volume that you can hear at different frequencies for each ear. It may also record how well other parts of your hearing system are working, including

Your Hearing Test
Your first screening might take only 5 to 10 minutes. A longer test could take up to an hour. There is absolutely no pain associated with these tests. If test results confirm hearing loss, your doctor can tell you what will help you best.
